Angelic Pretty S/S '22 Fashion Show at A-Kon

Angelic Pretty is one of the most renowned and popular sweet lolita fashion brands in the world. A-Kon 2022 invited Angelic Pretty USA as a guest brand. AP USA debuted their 2022 spring and summer collection with 14 models. Tokyo based Lolita fashion model RinRin Doll was also a convention guest and finished the runway collection wearing one of Angelic Pretty’s over the top pieces.

The spring and summer collection featured Angelic Pretty’s signature red and pink combinations along with some refreshing blues for summer. This collection included quite a bit of food prints and gingham fabric as well.

The first model wore the black and pink bunny themed coordinate featuring the Lovely Toybox print JSK in black, Lovely Toybox OTKs, Lovely Dot Lyrical Bunny Head Bow, and Toybox Lyrical Bunny Plush Pouch.

Model 2 Angelic Pretty Fresh Strawberry Diner

Model 2 wore a white and red strawberry themed sweet lolita look featuring the Fresh Strawberry Diner OP with accessories including the Logo Embroidery Frill Ribbon Head Bow, and Airy Dot Crew Length Socks.

Model 3 Angelic Pretty Girly Apples

The second fruit print of the night, model number 3 wore an apple print. This outfit featured the Girly Apples JSK in pink, Girly Apples Head Bow, Lyrical Bunny Lace Gloves, Glitter Love Heart Tote Bag, Lace-up Ribbon Tights, Dot Heart Crew Length Socks, and Tea Party Shoes.

Model 4 Angelic Pretty Lemonade Float

With yet another fruit print, model number 4 wore the sax colorway of AP’s Lemonade Float Shoulder Lace JSK, Gingham Heart Petit Ribbon Head Bow, and Dot Logo Heart Shoulder Bag in yellow.

Model 6 Angelic Pretty Strawberry Bread Bakery Cafe

Model 6 wore the Strawberry Bread Bakery Cafe Skirt Set which includes both the heart apron skirt and headdress. The print features breads and pastries on a gingham background. It was paired with the red gingham Resort Blouse and Topping Heart Crew Length Socks.

The eighth look featured a sailor inspired look featuring cats and stripes. Items worn included the Sailor Marine Kitten JSK and headbow set in sax and matching Sailor Marine Blouse, Sailor Marine Kitten OTKs, and Tea Party Shoes.

Model 10 Angelic Pretty Topping Heart

Model number ten wore an ornate lacy pink dress, Topping Heart JSK. It features heart tulle overlays for a layered effect.

The eleventh model wore the gingham version of the Pretty Frill JSK, Lyrical Bunny Shoulder Bag, and Scalloped Border Crew Length Socks. The red and white gingham reminds one of spring picnics.

Wearing a third gingham outfit in the show, model twelve came out in the pink colorway of the Lovely a la Mode OP paired with a summery straw hat and organza Original Logo Fairy Frill Apron. The model was holding two stuffed animal bags, the Bear Toy Plush Pouch and Bunny Toy Plush Pouch.

Model 13 Angelic Pretty Happy Humming Bunny

Happy Humming Bunny OP Set includes a solid OP and bunny ear headband. The OP has a solid base fabric and is covered by lace and organdy overlay to create an airy look. The OP was layered over a princess sleeve blouse. The model carried the Lyrical Bunny Print Umbrella.

Model 14 RinRin in Dolls Collection

Guest model RinRin Doll closed the show with a powerful strut wearing AP’s OTT release of the year, the Dolls Collection series. The series includes the Dolls Collection Dress, Dolls Collection Lyrical Bunny Headband Set, and Dolls Collection Gloves. The print features ornate frames with Angelic Pretty’s animal mascots adorned with many embellishments and ruffles for a very busy look. The look was accessorized with the Lace-up Ribbon OTKs in white and Jewelry Ribbon Shoes in gold.
