The Great Lace 2025 in Chicago featured Harajuku Hearts in their fashion show on Saturday afternoon. Harajuku Hearts is a boutique located in San Francisco, CA that carries a variety of Japanese street fashion brands.
Harajuku Hearts presented in the second half of the fashion show, following Atelier Pierrot. 20 models walked gracefully down the runway with guest model RinRin Doll closing. Since Harajuku Hearts carries multiple brands, their segment of the fashion show featured different brands! The featured brands included Enchantlic Enchantilly, Hoshibako Works, Melody BasKet, Emily Temple Cute, Axes Femme Kawaii, and Axes-X.
Enchantlic Enchantilly
The first two models wore Enchantlic Enchantilly, a lolita brand from Japan, known for their cat prints and flexible sizing.
Model 1 wore a sweet lolita outfit that featured the Enchantรฉrie Chocolate Dress in Ruby Chocolate colorway.

Model 2 wore Queen Cat ~Secret Study~ Dress with the matching socks.

Both models carried umbrellas with the Queen Cat Secret Study print.
Hoshibako Works
Second in the lineup was Hoshibako Works, a lolita brand based in both China and Japan, dabbling in classic and sweet lolita with heavily themed collections.
Model 3 wore an elegant all beige classic lolita look. The large ornate head bow is one of the Hoshibako Works’s signature head accessories.

In contrast, model 4 wore an all black classic lolita outfit.

Model 5 wore a sophisticated blue and wine ensemble. The Classical Dress and bonnet are a collaboration piece with Japanese model Midori Fukasawa.

Melody BasKet
The third brand was Melody BasKet, a Japanese brand known for otome and soft lolita aesthetics that draws inspiration from vintage fashion.
Model 6 wore a soft elegant sax and white lolita one piece. This dress is called the Triple M’s OP since it is a three way collaboration between the brand Melody BasKet and models Midori Fukasawa and Misako Aoki, all whose names start with the letter M.

Model 7 wore the Violet Lace Square Collar Dress. The illustration of violets on a lace panel were very visually captivating.

Emily Temple Cute
Emily Temple Cute is a Japanese brand known for its otome and soft lolita aesthetics as well. Emily Temple Cute designs tend to be quirkier and more kitschy compared to its cousin Melody BasKet.
Model 8 wore the American Diner Dress that featured classic Americana motifs such as vintage cars and fast food.

Model 9 wore a sax lolita coordinate using the Trump Alice Camisole JSK inspired by Alice in Wonderland.

Model 10 wore the Strawberry Check Tiered Frill Dress accented with a bow shaped purse. The print and cut of this dress is perfect for a picnic.

Axes Femme Kawaii
Axes Femme Kawaii is a sub-brand of Japanese fashion brand Axes Femme. Axes Femme had always been a girly sweet brand, but with this sub-brand they aimed to appeal to lolita fashion fans. Axes Femme Kawaii rebranded to the name Chalmiere in the latter half of 2025.
Model 11 wore the Gingerbread House JSK and apron. The Gingerbread House series was a collaboration with Japanese illustrator okappalover.

Model 12 also wore the Gingerbread House series, but in the OP cut and brown apron.

Model 13 wore a classic lolita outfit in pale green styled in a timeless manner.

Model 14 also wore a solid ensemble featuring a short sleeved OP and headdress in pale lavender.

Back with to the prints, model 15 wore a 4 piece set featuring the Sakura Pattern series. This outfit consisted of the head bow, sheer haori, JSK, and Lace Collar Japanese Style Blouse in navy.

Model 16 also wore items from the Sakura Print series, but this time in pink.

Axes-X
Axes-X is one of the newer Axes Femme sub-lines. The Axes-X concept is “Unbound by gender, transcending all genres, a novel worldview comes alive.” This sub-brand featured more unisex designs.
Model 17 wore a black and purple modern wa-punk set featuring a haori jacket, bicolor shirt, and wide pants.

Model 18 wore a similar wa-punk outfit consisting of a haori jacket, bicolor jacquard shirt, and hakama pants.

Model 19 wore a comfy yet cool outfit with a loose draped silhouette. The silhouette offered comfort with the large dolman blouse and wrap skirt wide pants.

Finale
Last, but not least, guest model RinRin Doll concluded the fashion show debuting a new print release from Axes Femme Kawaii. This Fluffy Bear JSK featured a teddy bears allover print which attendees could reserve at the Harajuku Hearts booth.
