Happy birthday to Quincy from Nu:Carnival! Quincy’s birthday is 9/14. Quincy lives in the Wood Territory as a forest hermit.
He’s one of my favorite characters from the game (the other being Kuya). I like him because he is a gentle giant with a big heart of gold. Plus he has Topper, the cutest little guy around. Sometimes I also feel like I match his sleep.
I love to celebrate character birthdays oshikatsu style, so I asked my friend Olive (@olive.bakes) to bake a Topper and Quincy themed cake in celebration. Didn’t Topper come out so cute? She really captured the essence of Quincy’s color scheme as well in the cream! The red dots along the side look just like the vine fruit in the game.
For the flavor, I asked for a matcha cake with raspberry jam. Matcha because I was trying to keep the green theme going despite Quincy being the yellow guy in the cast. They paired really well with each other.
